I absolutely loved this story line and the characters. If you are a lover of Julia Quinn or Amanda Quick you will become a lover of Jillian Hunter. I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star just because the secret was a bit weak for me. Not sure what the big deal was. The sex scenes and the tension was fabulous. Jane gave as good as she got and I love a h that knows her mind and loves to share it; and I'm a sucker for an H that know he's got what the ladies want. LOL The interaction between Gray and Jane was well written. Download the sample you won't regret it. I'm glad I found about Jillian I'm going to read the rest of the 8 books while I wait for Julia, Amanda, Lydia Dare etc..... to write their next books.lol

A series of plots, misunderstandings, one independant female, and seduction, make for a humorous, delightful, and wonderful romp!

Beautiful story, Loved it!
I have always been a huge fan of historical romance and I was happily introduced to this author by friends.

This was a sexy and steamy read with a great cast of characters that I look forward to reading more about in the future.
I enjoyed this, I read it all and thought it was fun. BUT, as an avowed regency fan, I was a little disappointed. Despite the fact that it's about a scoundrel and rake who meets the woman of his dreams at her "never-to-occur" wedding, the characters and dialog seemed more than a little contrived and unlikely. Enough so that it was difficult to get carried away by the story (e.g., a well-bred Regency lady would not visit a well-known courtesan -- in broad daylight -- without social ramifications).
I do enjoy the back and forth of this novel between the gentleman and the lady. Some days she wants him and some days not. Most days he is trying to understand her. It is a fun read finding out how they go about finding what it is they each want and how they get it.
This is the second book by Jullian Hunter that I've read. I read Devon' story and instantly went out to find the other books in the Boscastle series. I thought Jane and Grayson were a really interesting couple and I loved the fact that they were such a sensual couple. The only drawback to the story was when Grayson plotted "revenge" against Jane. I didn't think that whole scenario did Grayson justice. It didn't quite fit. Perhaps had it had more of an air of fun as oppose to "teaching her a lesson" it might have flowed better.
But overall, I thought it was a very enjoyable read and I can't wait to read Chloe's and Gaberial's stories.
